Synopsis:

For years, the government has been relocating the world's geniuses (and their families) to the picturesque Pacific Northwest town of Eureka, where daily life straddles the line between unprecedented innovation and total chaos. U.S. Marshal Jack Carter finds this out firsthand when he wrecks his car and becomes stranded there. After the town's eccentric inhabitants unleash a scientific creation still unknown to the outside world, Carter steps in to restore order and consequently is let in on one of our country's best-kept secrets. From unrequited love to professional jealousy, from addiction to depression, the problems of Eureka's townsfolk grow from the myriad of life's everyday challenges. But with the population's unique talents, troubled psyches and limitless resources, these small-town concerns have a way of becoming big-time problems. It is at that intersection, where human frailty and super-science collide, that Eureka begins.

5 out of 5 stars Come on already! (spoiler alert!!!!!)   October 20, 2008
J. R. Lucas
I love this show. It is one of my favorites on Sci-Fi, and that is saying a lot. The main complaint I have though, is the wait since the last episode. "From Fear to Eternity" left us wondering if Sherrif Carter was fired! And now its been almost a MONTH since that episode. COME ON ALREADY!!!!

4 out of 5 stars Eureka Series 2   October 18, 2008
Catherine A. Lewis (Australia)
Fun and easy to watch. Still of a good quality standard when comparisons are made with the first series. Nice twists with the various role changes of the characters from the first series.

5 out of 5 stars I think Nathan will be back...   September 29, 2008
Katie Cooks (Diboll, TX)
I still love Eureka. I was surprised by Nathan's death, but I have my doubts about whether it is permanent. This is one show that I never miss. I purchased season 3 on Unbox, and love the convenience of being able to download the episodes and watch them whenever I wish.

4 out of 5 stars It's still a very entertaining show   September 29, 2008
C. Johannessen
I have followed all three seasons of this show and still find it a very enjoyable show to watch. It is light hearted and comedic. The character development has been well done. Despite the two negative reviews currently listed for this show - It is definitely worth seeing for yourself if it is to your liking.

1 out of 5 stars Fabulous first season and going downhill ever since....(spoilers)   September 24, 2008
Booklover (Wisconsin)
This show was THE BEST it's first season. Season two struggled with every character landing in the infirmary with some end of the world disease. Season 3 finally found it's footing and then heartlessly killed of a main character. They left you hanging there in disbelief and then jumped in with funny little scenes from next week. Cruel and heartless. There were a million better ways to handle the character leaving. After the first season, I wrote letters making sure the show got picked up. Now, I wish they would just bury it and put us all out of our misery.
