Product Description An Animated Comic DVD. Wide-eyed Elektra Natchios arrived at Columbia University with a fourth-degree black belt in Karate, but a white belt in life experience. Raised by a loving single father in Queens and a martial-arts master in the dojo, Elektra has risen to the challenges of freshman year. Still, she wasn t prepared for the romantic free-fall she would plunge into after meeting Mathew Murdock, a blind pre-law student who just happens to be more than he appears. But following her brush with a campus menace, Elektra hungers for revenge. When the stakes are raised, which will she choose: the man she loves...or her own brand of justice? It s Elektra as you never seen her! Written by Greg Rucka.

More dramatic comics on DVD deserves a second look... December 1, 2004 picardfan007 (USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
If you like comics and dramatic actors reading the scripts then this idea is for you. Remember the book and records when you were a kid? Well with DVD it takes it a step further with these new editions of the graphic novels...with actors reading the parts. Apperently it didn't do too well. I've seen these discs in the budget section in many video game stores of late. Too bad because for comic fans this is an idea that should have had a second chance!
Go Elektra!! May 27, 2004 James M. Fox (Las Vegas, NV USA) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
A great DVD. This begins the Elektra story and how she first crossed paths with Daredevil. Would recommend this product for any comic book fan. The quality of the product far surpasses the Saturday morning superhero cartoons. And the images and dialog are taken directly from the graphic novel so this is as true to the comic as you can get. Great voice-over and animation work.
