1 out of 5 stars why do they make trash like this   October 1, 2006
superman forever
0 out of 6 found this review helpful

this has GOT to be the worst show ever ever ever ever ever animated they just do not write good stories or take the time to do any of the shows right i do not like the way they treat superman or batman. superman should be the one the league looks up to because that is how it is in the comics and in the comics he inspires other heros to use their powers for good batman makes it clear he does not want to be told what to do. in the comics it is that way but what we have here is superman as the team member instead of the team hero and batman more of a team player. they could have easly done a show with just batman and superman with supporting dc comic heros like supergirl and nightwing and robin
and batgirl.in the comics superman fights sometimes up to four or five superpowered villians at one time he did some of that in the new superman animated series batman as well in both animated series and comics this shows degrades two of the most popular heros of all time. the justice league movies are good starcrossed and secret origins

1 out of 5 stars We want season box sets !   June 23, 2005

Only 4 episodes on 1 DVD (ie 2 stories), isn't it a bit short when we could get a season box set? Those're from the 1st season of the Justice League, which wasn't so good at the time, although "Injustice for all" & "The Brave & the Bold" do have nice moments (especially in the first, when Batman seduces each member of the Injustice Gang to turn them against each other). There're many plot holes, stupid lines, Superman's too weak, the action is sometimes too slow (but the animation's great, every character's on-model). Compared to what Bruce Timm & his crew are doing now with the Justice League Unlimited (and also to their previous works), this is only mediocre (but they were learning to tell multiple-character stories).
That's why Warner should (MUST!) release season box sets (filled with audio commentaries, sketches & featurettes), so that the better episodes can make up for the most annoying ones. Come on, Warner, the 4th season is comming to an end now, don't you think it's high time you release the previous ones? I would buy them, you know, and I wouldn't be the only one!

We bought this for my 3 yr old daughter and she loves it. She watches it all the time. It is great because it has 4 epis. So she goes to bed after 2 of the 4. Its easy for her to follow and she loves to pretend to be hawk girl. Its not a highly educational video...it fun! I enjoy watching with her too and I'm 24!

1 out of 5 stars DON'T BUY THIS DVD!!!   March 11, 2005

It's an understatement that many of us feel ripped off by WB's attempt to unfairly empty our wallets. If we refuse to buy these horribly priced episode dvds and at the same time purchase the available full season box sets that are of value then we can make some headway. They are in the business of making $$$. Slowing their cash flow will force them to give us consumers' products we demand or risk losing our disposable income. Die-hard fans of this series and other series must convince every parent to withhold from purchasing these dvds until full seasons are made available. C'mon WB, we love these shows and will pay for them. We only ask that you don't rape our wallets. Give us the full season box sets much sooner.
