I think with some tv shows, the frequency of their release is based on sales. I bought season 1 of Rod Serling's "Night Gallery" when it came out, and it took them about FOUR YEARS to finally come out with season 2. So........ all we can do is wait, unfortunately. All in the Family is the best sitcom ever conceived and I definitely will be looking for it until it comes out...

What on earth is the hold up for the release of the last 3 seasons?
I see so many other TV shows with most of the seasons released already.
And what about The jeffersons series??
C'mon people, get cracking??
By the way has anyone ever heard of a website called TV Addicts?
They are offering the series bundle 1-9 for sale but iam a bit skeptical to purchase from them. I am thinking if amazon has not yet released them how come they have them for sale hmmmmm?

I have seen so many series come out on DVD that are, in my opinion junk, Please release the last seasons of All in the Family!

I lke many others are highly dedicated to this show, it would be nice if Sony was as dedicated to their costumers. So to SONY PLEASE release ALL IN THE FAMILY seasons 7, 8 & 9 along with Archie Bunkers Place seasons 2, 3 & 4, respectfully.

well, according to some source, because "All in the Family" is so classic and that everybody wants to buy the whole damn selection,there is a slight problem within the "big bosses"! like who gets to release the remaining season, the producer, the studio company, or the developer - Mr. Norman Lear??? Every one of them argues about who gets the most profit...which i kind a think, ain't true at all. However, the more they prolong the release of it the longer the agony we have. But if you try to google "All in the Family" there's this one site that offers the whole set on DVD from Seasons 1-12 that cost about $130.00. Actually, seasons 1-9 for All in the Family and 3 more seasons for Archie's Place that's why up to 12seasons. It came to my attention too late, and don't wanna buy the whole thing for i already have the Seasons 1-6 plus 1 Season of Archie's Place. Anyway, for those who can't wait you might probably want to go to that site but for me since i have waited for this long already, it's not gonna hurt me if i'd keep on waiting. Sooner or later, the big bosses behind it, will sure come up with the aggreement which i couldn't care a less whatever that may be, as long as they release the remaining seasons of the Greatest Sitcom of all time- ALL IN THE FAMILY...
