 Great walk down memory lane! December 11, 2008

My husband already had S1 and S2 and wanted S3 and S4 for Christmas, so I got them for him. If you are wanting a fantastic walk down memory lane, watching the famous Torino in action, looking at the fashion and famous people from back in the 70's...which doesn't really seem all THAT long ago...then this is perfect. It is Starsky and Hutch in true form and we are actually BOTH enjoying watching the episodes!

Season 4 was as great as season 3 only 10 times Better.A lot more action as well as drama and suspence.Also seamed to have alot more scenery to it than previous episodes.Which is probibly why they put palm trees in the background of the front cover of the U.S region 1 dvd release.Ive loved all 4 seasons of starsky and hutch and will never get tired of watching them.Ill watch them for years.

Actually, I purchased all 4 seasons at the same time. My favorites are in fact seasons 1, 2, and 3. But 4 is okay too, (I just never liked the mustache and you S & H fans know what I mean!) In seasons 1, 2 and 4, there was an episode list for each disc but there wasn't one in season 3. I think it was probably an isolated error on the part of the manufacturer though. But hey, the episodes are great! After watching them all, I only wish they had made more, a lot more! Good purchase, great memories, S & H together always had "the right stuff!"

While the episodes in this final season of the series vary in quality in terms of the writing/plots, the relatioship between the characters (the raison d'etre for viewing this show) remains powerful. The series finale is one of the best episodes of Starsky & Hutch; a truly rivetting episode directed by series star Paul Michael Glaser with extraordinary drama and artistry for a TV show of that time. It ends the series beautifully.
