I doubt that the boys (& girls) in the back or boardrooms of the networks will ever be able to see past their short sighted ratings goals, where mammon means everything, & truly original televison at the bleeding edge of dark humour can so easily fall victim to the whims of those blinkered exec's in the bowels of TVLand, who are truly lacking in vision.
Just as 'Firefly' had to be rounded off by the making of 'Serenity,' maybe 'DLM: Life After Death' is just some more unfinished business which was needed in order to put the show to rest, before the viewing public can move on again?
I only hope that there is still room left at the end of the film to allow for a series 3, 4, 5, & 6 maybe?
Wishful thinking, but then some wishes do come true.
Yes, please lets promote it so they put the show back January 4, 2009

This was an excelent show, I remember going to blockbuster ti get season 3 and guess what? there wasn't any!! I was so dissapinted, anyhow this is our chance, hopefully people gets hook up with this wonderful dark comedy show.

Having not seen the movie yet, I still give it 5 stars. DLM is one of the greatest shows ever made. Hands down. I just pray that the movie is a success enough for them to bring back the series! *Crosses fingers*

I was obliged to keep the fact that I'd seen the movie already to myself, a friend of mine, an actress (a friend) in the movie (I won't say who she was) showed it to me... needless to say it was previous to her narration of this segment of this interesting story (and I felt the story added to the progression of the story that was so much cut short by the buyout of Showtime by HBO). This show, Dead Like Me, developed by the same successful and amazing writer and producer/director as that of "Pushing Daisies", hit it right on, yet when Showtime got bought out by HBO, his amazing ability to understand gender on both sides went overlooked, and the amazing enjoyability of the show went likewise, overlooked!!!... needless to say, there is quite a roller-coaster of drama and comedy that got sold out and terminated by the A-typical masses of insanity, rather than the actual real folks of reality. You can't ask for more if you have any moral, emotional, and intellectual intuition... if you have all mentioned? buy/rent/watch this show... I guarantee you will laugh, cry, and enjoy this show. -Matt
