Description Rudy and his new friend Devery plan to spend Halloween playing practical jokes on the elderly. They both take aim on Mrs. Bakewell, an old widow living in a spooky house by the graveyard. But the kids get the ultimate scare when two of them don't return from "trick or treating!" Did Mrs. Bakewell have something to do with their mysterious disappearance?

HEY! HEY! HEY! HALLOWEEN IS A-OK! October 12, 2008 Randall M. Benton (Clearwater, Florida) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This DVD release takes me back to October, 1977 when I first saw "The Fat Albert Halloween Special" on network television. I was always a fan of the Saturday morning "Fat Albert & The Cosby Kids" cartoon, and of this special in particular. This special doesn't quite match "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown," but it's still a classic that deserves to be seen by kids of all ages. Maybe it's just a chance to stroll down memory lane and relive Halloween's gone by, but it sure is nice to have this in my collection. The bonus episodes are also enjoyable. For older kids like me, it's great to watch Fat Albert and the gang go Trick or Treating once again. And, like Bill Cosby says at the beginning of the TV series, "You may even learn something before it's done... so let's get ready, ok? HEY! HEY! HEY!"
A blast from the past for 40 somthings to share October 4, 2008 Christmas queen Johnson (Canton, Ohio United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My kids adore Fat Albert and the lessons the group teaches. Kindness generosity and friendship all values we want in todays society.
