3 out of 5 stars Now you can pay for what you saw on TV last Christmas for free!   November 18, 2008

I love Shrek - but the price of this short film (it is ONLY 22 minutes in length) is outrageous! The retail price, even the discounted $12 price is expensive. It's a cute short film and I bought it at my local retail store for $11 which included a free Gingy TY Plush when it was first released. I justified my purchase because I received the free plush with it, so for $11 I essentially paid $5.50 for the movie and $5.50 for the plush.

It's nothing to write home about and it probably won't be something I'll personally watch more than once. The show is predictable but cute and entertaining for little ones. If you are considering on buying this I am sure it will be on sale maybe even lower than the $11 I paid the day after Thanksgiving if not on Amazon then one of your favorite local retailers.

5 out of 5 stars Greatest Shrek of all!!!   November 16, 2008
Daniel P. Furr (Fredericksburg, Virginia United States)
I would give this 4 stars because of the price but the movie is just to good. I wish it was a little longer. Great story and I'm glad to finally have it since it was accidentally deleted from my DVR.

1 out of 5 stars Disappointing   November 15, 2008

I was very disappointed in this DVD. I've really enjoyed all of the other Shrek movies. Without even mentioning the price, the movie can't even be called a "movie." I think I giggled maybe once during the whole thing. Quite honestly, I was bored.

3 out of 5 stars Liked it on TV, but unnecessary scary Santa scene   November 14, 2008

There was a scary scene with Santa and Gingey that pretty much ruined an otherwise enjoyable and authentically Shrek video. Really little ones will be completely confused and possibly frightened by it.

1 out of 5 stars Don't waist your money   November 13, 2008

I am so disappointed and I feel ripped off that this movie was even released. I can't even call it a movie as it is only 22 minutes long. Seriously who checks the run time when they buy a movie? I sure don't especially when it is advertised as a movie. It is so short and it costs way too much that it just boils right down to a waist of money and time. Which in the end just ruins the whole thing and turns my stomach that I can't return it. Don't buy this buy a real Christmas classic instead.
