Wisconsin-LaCrosse defeated Rowan by a score of 36-7. The Eagles, coached by Roger Harring, ended their season with an undefeated record of 14-0. The game, known as the Stagg Bowl, was played at the Salem Football Stadium in Salem, Virginia. The victory earned Wisconsin-LaCrosse their second national championship in four years.
