Product Description In the final film of leones trilogy three desperadoes have their eyes set on a $200000 treasure during civil war times. Studio: Tcfhe/mgm Release Date: 05/13/2008 Starring: Clint Eastwood Lee Van Cleef Run time: 161 minutes Rating: R Director: Sergio Leone
Amazon.com essential video Clint Eastwood (the Man with No Name) is good, Lee Van Cleef (Angel Eyes Sentenza) is bad, and Eli Wallach (Tuco Benedito Pacifico Juan Maria Ramirez) is ugly in the final chapter of Sergio Leone's trilogy of spaghetti westerns (the first two were A Fistful of Dollars and For a Few Dollars More). In this sweeping film, the characters form treacherous alliances in a ruthless quest for Confederate gold. Leone is sometimes underrated as a director, but the excellent resolution on this digital video disc should enhance appreciation of his considerable photographic talent and gorgeous widescreen compositions. Ennio Morricone's jokey score is justifiably famous.

A stone classic - great film! November 4, 2008 Chris Wood (UK) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a fantastic film, a brilliant example of a western or a war film, as well as being a very entertaining movie. The action is brutal and the directing makes this an amazing spectacle. This is one of the best films I've ever seen.
Go Go Tuco! October 25, 2008 Capital One (Austin, TX) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
It's great to see this movie after so many years. The Digital Restoration looks really great. Super clean and sharp looking. This great movie can be seen many times because of the terrific cinematography (camera angles) and music by Ennio Morricone. Very nice interviews of Clint Eastwood, Eli Walach and others! The best DVD transfer of this film!!!
One of my favorite movies of the saga October 15, 2008 J. Garcia 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This Clint Eastwood movie is my favorite of the 'saga' of spaghetti westerns starring Clint Eastwood. Everything from the engaging music, to the intense almost agonizing suspenseful long moments before a fight scene. The overacting of Eli to the sublime acting of Clint. Every element combined makes this movie one of a kind.
A Perfect Western October 10, 2008 R. Webb (u.s.a.) This film is like a perfect picture,a legendary director, three great actors made for their roles, the well written screenplay, the distinctive music score, the bold scenery, and the cinematography, rounding it off to an Italian western like no other, here is,The Good, the Bad,and the Ugly.
