Product Description The work of metalheads who have never been afraid to be original. Mushroomhead had a distinctive, recognizable sound (and a devoted cult following in Cleveland) long before Evanescence, Slipknot, or Sevendust broke through commercially.-- All Music Guide
MUSHROOMHEAD release their second DVD entitled Vol. 2 on October 28, 2008! It features over 2 hours of unreleased footage both live and behind the scenes. Catch the band as they reveal what drives this crazy, artistic machine. MUSHROOMHEAD are pioneers in art metal and are at the forefront of this scene. Combining masks with theatrics and a combination of rock and metal, the band creates epic albums that appeal to metal, goth and rock kids. Savior Self continues this tradition, but with a stronger rock sensibility. Their last single cracked the Top 40 on the Active Rock Chart. Similar bands: Slipknot, Tool.

Picks up from Vol 1 November 4, 2008 Chamberlain (slc,ut) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This DVD picks up with the antics of the band pretty much where we left them. The quality of the video is better and the sound is better, but that is to be expected. The off stage stuff is pretty entertaining, but the real reason to get this are the videos. If you liked Vol.1 This is the same, but better. I was suprised that they put in the footage of the in-band-fights. I guess it happens but it was interesting to see it on the DVD.
