I own a plethora of instuctional videos for guitar and this is one of the best. It is worth the price just for the entertainment value. This video is for intermediate to advance players, however I would not discourage a newbie from purchasing it. Kelly's guitar is set up like a squareneck lap steel and you would likely find it difficult until changing the setup on your guitar. He uses a dobro capo and alternate tunings like open 'd'.
With all that said, I love this video and just ordered his fingerstyle DVD to go with it. His playing is smooth, sweet and tasteful. Kelly's personality is laidback and patient. He performs a couple of complete songs. This is one of the best I've seen, you will not likely be disappointed!
