This guy has a fantastic voice. Great selection of songs in a beautiful setting (Roman Coleseum). I love the style.
Many of the songs are in English so I'm curious why Amazon does not have this item region 1 NTSC. It plays fine on my Phillips DVD player that I have set to be region free (I bought for under $50 so I can view DVDs other than region 1).

I am an ardent fan of Patrizio Buanne since I first heard him sing on a PBS special in the spring of 2006. He has a fantastic voice and he is the ultimate entertainer. There isn't anything he can't do - he sings, dances, plays the guitar and piano. I have seen him perform live many times and his concerts are just fantastic. He keeps his audience in the palm of his hand from the first note he sings and he takes them on a heavenly journey a journey that continues way after the show is over. He will mesmerize you with his voice, charm, talent and of course his good looks. Once you hear Patrizio sing, you are a fan for life....there is no one better!!!! Not only will you enjoy his CDs "The Italian" and "Forever Begins Tonight", you will love the DVD of his concert in Croatia also titled "The Italian" - it is just fabulous.
You don't have to be Italian to enjoy Patrizio's music. He has recorded in Italian, English and Spanish and he can speak at least six languages...he definitely is a multi-talented entertainer. Matter of fact, Patrizio is working on his third album as we speak....and it promises to have more lovely romantic songs plus some special songs written by Patrizio himself. Don't miss out, it will be a real treat and should be released sometime in September 2008.

I ordered this DVD even though my player does not support PAL format. It was the best thing I've done in awhile. If you have not seen Patrizio in concert you are missing out on a fantastic (!!!!!!) show. I have seen him twice and he puts on a performance you will never forget. This DVD will allow you to hear a voice that goes beyond Sinatra, Dean, Engelbert, Tom Jones, etc. The setting is beautiful, the voice is beautiful, and his soul is beautiful

I just recently purchased this DVD and it exceeded my expectations. Grab it while you can. No telling when it will hit U.S. stores. One glitch, DVD will not play on U.S. formatted DVD players. You will need to buy a Multi-region or code free DVD player. It's worth every penny--You will not be disappointed. This guy is truly an ICON in the making. Enjoy repeatedly!!

Realy enjoy this gentleman, great singer, great performer. Bought his first CD with the video bonus upon first release, was very impressed with this young man's vocal talents and showmanship. We are very fortunate to be able to savour his talents for a very long time to come. The music is just wonderful, the arrangements are just as great, truely a wonderful listening experience. One problem: Searched high and low for the DVD, glad to have finally found it, but, of course would not play through my USA Sony DVD player, so, I purchased a Pal DVD player..... big dispointment, as I was only able to view it in Black and White, no color (though the sound is just incredible). I know it was released in color since the originial CD/DVD bonus (with 3 short sample videos) were in color and the packaging indicates color. I have also purchased other "Pal" format DVDs and the color and sound comes through just fine, so I'm sure there is no flaw with the DVD player I purchased. This is the only reason I give this DVD just 3 stars, would have been 10, otherwise. Wondering if others have had the same problem, I'm hoping for a USA release version in NTS, perhaps that color issue would be resolved.
