Description She confessed to his deadly crime
Now, she's changed her mind. When Brianne (Lea Thompson, Caroline in the City) first met Clay (James Marshall, Alien Lockdown) she thought that her dreams had come true - but her problems were just beginning. Despite her parents' wishes, she marries him and the two soon have a daughter. Clay's violent behavior boils over when he sees a man talking to Brianne. In a fit of jealous rage, Clay shoots him dead. To avoid losing their freedom and each other, the couple decides to lie, claiming that Brianne shot the man by accident. However, the plan backfires and they both go to prison for life sentences. At first, Brianne believes that her love for her husband can prevail. But, when her father dies and authorities threaten to take away custody of her daughter, she's learns a horrible truth about her past. Her decision provides the heart-wrenching climax of this story.

A good view of prison life November 2, 2008 Nancy Sherburne (Tucson, Arizona, USA) Good actors, indeed. I saw Lea Thompson as Dennis' mother in Dennis the Menace. While I never saw any of them, I know Robert Englund played Nightmare on Elm Street's Freddie Kruger. I have seen Patricia Kalember in a few other movies, but also as television's Doctor Kay O'Brien. Dick O'Neil has certainly been in a lot of movies, but I remember him most in Wolfen. This movie about a young woman so controlled by her violent husband is about her and his imprisonment after being found guilty of first degree murder. Based on a real event, I was surprised how much he could control her in prison, until her sister got her to see what had been happening to her and her young daughter and help her find the strength she needs to prove her innocence and break free from her husband's control. I always look forward to when she is granted her release from prison.

I was disappointed in this film, especially with the good actors. It is not something I would buy had I seen the film beforehand.
