Excellent Video Set January 27, 2008 George 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this set for my 10 year old son who is into skateboarding a great deal, and this is what he has to say about it; "It was the best skatboarding video I have seen yet. It taught me a lot of things like how to do an impossible, ollie, dropping in, and street plants. Even though I can't do a lot of the tricks yet, I understand how they work."

My son is 12 and thinks he is a cool skater kid. I bought him this video to help him visualize the tricks he wants to do. Tony Hawk and his crew makes it look easy but these tricks take time and practice. The video is informative and instructional, it takes you throught various levels of difficulty and explains each trick in detail and then has slow mo examples of the trick execution. We live in San Diego and so does T. Hawk and so we have seen him around a couple of times, which adds to his credibility with the kids.
Kid Tested, Mother Approved. January 25, 2005 Maryscottsmom (Michigan) 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
This is a great series! My son is 11 and very into skateboarding. I worry about some of the language and images involved in alot of skateboarding movies, magazines and games. This is top notch, I think Tony has a real sense for keeping it kid friendly. The photography was great, I love the way they show the tricks in slowmo again and again so you can see every detail. Tony chats with other pro boarders at a sunny skatepark and discusses the ins and outs of each trick. Very laid back like you are part of the conversation. I would recommend the whole series, there is so much to learn and it is a great value. My son has watched it over and over and over again. You could say I got my moneys worth.
This Is A Great DVD Set May 21, 2004 Sherry W. Humphrey (Mt. Pleasant, NC USA) 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
I watched this DVD box set and it is the best. It is really good for people just starting out or for people who are learning advance tricks. And it is cheaper to buy the box set than to buy the Tony Hawk's Trick Tips DVDs seperate. I really enjoyed this DVD!!! Anyone who likes Skateboarding should get this DVD Box Set!!!
