Stay-Puft is a god April 10, 1999
I'm not much for movies and the latest crazes, but ever since I was a small child, I have been absolutely obsessed with this film. I'm Catholic, but when I saw "The Exorcist" for the first time last year, I laughed the whole way through. Want to know why? "Ghostbusters" is a complete spoof of that horror flick! Absolutely brilliant, my hat is off to Harold Ramis and Dan Akroyd for creating such a brilliant piece of Americana. PS-- If any of you happens to have an old 1959 Chevy ambulance, send it my way-- I'm dying to have an Ecto-1 of my own!

A truly great film comedy... April 9, 1999
I have seen this film so many times that it's like an old friend. My favorite moment isn't a comedic one, but instead is an effectively touching one; Venkman turning to Ray as they prepare to battle Gozer, fire and destruction all around, the only sound that of the flames: "See you on the other side, Ray." Awesome; for once a movie smart-aleck who ISN'T a coward. Why doesn't Columbia...re-release this (in letterbox)?

THE FUNNIEST FILM EVER MADE! April 2, 1999
I first saw this masterpiece when I was about 8 years old in 1984. I was hooked then, and I'm still hooked now. This film has more quotable lines than any other film ever! Murray's performance has to be one of the finest and funniest in cinematic history. But also give the other actors their due, everyone is superb in this film. This film belongs on every serious film fans top 10. "Somebody saw a cockroach up on twelve." "That's gotta be some cockroach?" "Yeah! Bite your head off man!" I cannot overstate how great a piece of cinema this is. Please, try and see it. For your own sake. You owe it to yourself.

Kids Love It March 22, 1999
I'm a kid, adults, and I would like to recommend this as a holiday gift, it's so good I think they should watch it for their birthday! Remember, I'm speaking for all the kids in my class, which makes 27. Bill Murray is one of the funniest, he even brightens up Ghost Busters 2, which I thought was boring. I warn you, this is not a thriller, so the young ones (not me)can have the lights out. It's a spoof, and a good one-even though it's occasionly scary. So go and see it!

This is a wonderful horror/comedy movie! It's strange plot twist of ancient legends makes it even better.
